Dancing Lab: Intergenerational Partners | 2024–2025

Through Dancing Lab: Intergenerational Partners, NCCAkron responded to prolific choreographers (ages 55+) who expressed interest in working with younger, mid-career artists who have developed a strong artistic voice and their own approach to dance. After being paired based on common inquiries in artistic and administrative practices, the artists engaged in home environments and then gathered in Akron to further the creative exchange.

Artist pairs include Dianne McIntyre (Cleveland, OH) with Tiffany Rea-Fisher (New York, NY), Donald Byrd (Seattle, WA) with Nia-Amina Minor (Seattle, WA), and Donna Uchizono (New York, NY) with Kristel Baldoz (Queens, NY).
