About the Event

Join NCCAkron for the Opening Plenary of the Creative Administration Research Summit Convening! In this free event, Marc Bamuthi Joseph (Vice President and Artistic Director of Social Impact at the Kennedy Center) and Christy Bolingbroke (NCCAkron Executive/Artistic Director) will discuss the role artists play in modeling a new socioeconomic normal, and how to embrace artistic thinking as entrepreneurial thinking.

This event is part of the Creative Administration Research (CAR) Summit Convening. Artists and Thought Partners from around the country who are participating in NCCAkron's multi-year CAR program will be in Akron for a full weekend of events. Click here to learn more about CAR.

Make sure to join us for our Closing Plenary on Saturday, June 4, with cultural advocate Elena Muslar (Los Angeles, CA) and CAR artists. RSVP for free here to join us at the Akron Civic Theatre's Knight Stage!
